These are some of the Mardi Gras Parade krewes from past and present that have paraded the streets of New Orleans.

In 1972 Argus, Inc. was incorporated as a carnival organization by several civic-minded Jefferson Parish business men in order to bring Mardi Gras to Jefferson Parish on Mardi Gras Day. Krewe of Argus parades in Metairie, a suburb of New Orleans.
