Al Wehmeier established his first store in 1951 on St. Charles Ave. From there he went to University Place and then to Canal St. In 1987, he purchased this property at 719 Toulouse St. in the French Quarter.
Recently a second Wehmeier's opened at the upscale "The Shops at Canal Place". When your travel destinations include wonderful New Orleans, please plan to visit both stores. You will be in for a unique and pleasant shopping experience.

Getting around in New Orleans is a lot like getting to the land of OZ! There are no mountains in Louisiana...and, depending upon where you are in the city, you're either at sea-level or below. The city is built on a bend in the river (hence the Crescent City name) with streets radiating outward.

Since the opening of the first Reginelli's Pizzeria in 1996, Darryl Reginelli and Bruce Erhardt have prided themselves on having a restaurant that offers something for everyone. By combining a unique menu and wide array of fresh ingredients with a cool, modern décor, the two were able to bring together a contemporary atmosphere with old world Italy.
